Embarking on our grand finale after three decades of exploring the hidden gems of Europe, we have chosen to bid farewell with a thrilling adventure through Portugal and Spain, which has been my home for the past decade.
This time, we will revisit some of our favourite towns, scenic villages, and the spectacular roads of the Iberian Peninsula, while also exploring some undiscovered territories that we have yet to see. Some of the most breathtaking scenery can be found in this part of Spain and Portugal and you will ride some of the best roads in Europe. The scenery of the mountains and sleepy villages from the Picos De Europa and across to Baiona on the rugged Atlantic coast is varied and beautiful. We will visit magnificent gorges and mountains, beautiful National park lands and remote unspoilt medieval villages and towns. Much of Northern Spain and Portugal remains unspoiled by the frenetic pace of modern life, with many small sleepy villages appearing to have escaped the passage of time. Accommodation is first class as you stay in ancient castles, palaces, historic buildings and the traditional menus each night are hard to beat – an amazing adventure and a chance to immerse yourself in the true essence of Spain and Portugal. Offering both a spectacular 17-night journey or an 11-night tour starting and ending in Spain, you have the flexibility of either taking the UK/Spain ferry or creating your own unique route for traveling to and from Spain. Throughout the entire 18 day tour, our lead motorcycle and trusty support van will accompany you, taking care of your luggage and assisting whenever needed. Additionally, we extend the opportunity for you to join this tour earlier or later, providing you stay a minimum of six nights. Prices will be adjusted accordingly, ensuring an all-encompassing experience tailored to your preferences. Day 1. Saturday, August 31. From Calais to Le Mans - approximately 265 miles.
