AUTHORISED HARLEY-DAVIDSON MOTORCYCLE TOURS AROUND EUROPE - THE NORMANDY COAST - 6-10 MAY 2010

Our first trip of the season and a chance to dust off the bike and re-tune your riding skills ahead of the balmy summer days. What better way than the coastal roads of northern France and the beautiful Normandy countryside.

Day 1. Thursday May 6. Calais to Dieppe (approx. 120 miles).
From Calais we stay as close as possible to the coast all the way to Dieppe where our hotel overlooks the beach.

Day 2. Friday May 7. Dieppe to Cabourg (approx. 110 miles). Leaving Dieppe we again hug the coast, stopping at Etretat on the Alabaster coast, before crossing the stunning Pont du Normandie which crosses the River Seine. From here we make our way to the stylish seaside resort of Cabourg and the impressive four star hotel, The Grand.

Day 3. Saturday May 8. Cabourg to Honfleur (approx. 160 miles). Today we run along the famous D-Day beaches, pop into Bayeux and then to Honfleur - an old harbour town situated on the southern bank of the Seine estuary. Tonight you are free to eat out and there is a wide choice of restaurants many of which sit alongside the harbour and old dock.

Day 4. Sunday May 9. A day off to explore Honfleur or take a short ride along the coast to Deauville. Home of French horse racing, Deauville also has an impressive boardwalk. On returning to Honfleur you'll be free once again to eat out. (approx. 50 miles)

Day 5. Monday May 10. Honfleur to Calais (approx. 170 miles). We return to Calais for our afternoon crossing back to Dover.
